The WellVoice LabLink system provides a secure voice mailbox for patients to access lab results 24 hours a day. This communication model is significantly more efficient than other methods (form letters, etc.) of communicating "normal" lab results. The improved process starts by providing patients with a reminder card when they leave your office that includes a toll free number and unique patient ID number for accessing their lab result. On the designated date the patient calls into the WellVoice LabLink system to retrieve the lab result message that was assigned by your staff. The phone never rings in your office and patients have immediate access to their results 24 hours a day.
The improved efficiency and cost savings comes from eliminating form letters and allowing your staff to process "normal" lab result communications in a fraction of the time it takes to talk with each patient individually.
The WellVoice LabLink system also includes a customizable prerecorded message library. This feature allows staff members to assign previously recorded "normal" lab result messages to patient mailboxes in a matter of seconds. A common example of using the library is assigning prerecorded "normal" pap smear messages for the large volume of pap smear results processed by the average OB/GYN practice.
